"I'm not in this universe my body's stuck in reverse. My lungs are always short of breath,You see these tracks you know the rest.My face is skuffed my eyes are blackWhere's the point where I turn back?
But I'm not afraid anymore.
-Universe, Ghost Town
Seconds by Bryan Lee O'Malley is so underrated it hurts
It's like Scott Pilgrim, only more dark and mature? It's hard to explain but the plot is so mind blowing! It has some vices yes but overall it's an amazing story with equally awesome characters (with Scott Pilgrim, Ramona and Knives cameos!) and one of my favorites next to Hazel is hands down Lis. Now, Lis was never really explained what exactly she is aside from being a house spirit that has these magic mushrooms that if eaten, you can fix a life mistake that occurred on the home's property. Now of course the main character abuses the mushrooms and causes this whole parallel universal gap that would make Max Caulfield cringe and implode and of course, pisses Lis off to no end until her energy gets thrown off. Wished she had her background explored but overall, I love my mushroom spirit ghostie girl
Title is inspired by Ghost Town's Universe-thought it fit perfectly
